TENTATIVE CONTRACT AGREEMENT HIGHLIGHTS
BETWEEN LOCAL 195, IFPTE & LOCAL 32BJ MVI DIV. & THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY

  • 4 Year Contract from July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2019

    July 1, 2015 - 0% Raise
    July 1, 2016 - 0% Raise
    July 1, 2017 - 1.75% Raise
    July 1, 2018 - 1.50% Raise

  • All eligible members who make to $65,000.00 or less will receive a $550 clothing allowance for all four years, retroactive back from July 2015. The 2015 and 2016 payment is scheduled to be paid 30 days after ratification or as soon thereafter. The 2017 and 2018 payment is to be paid on the first full pay period after August 1st of that year.

  • Normal increments are back and will be paid to all employees’ eligible retroactive back to July 2015. Any salary adjustments and any retroactive payments will be paid as soon as possible.

  • Tool allowance will be paid to all employees’ eligible retroactive back to July 2015. Any salary adjustments and any retroactive payments will be paid as soon as possible.

  • Employees who are not eligible for increments during the period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017 shall receive a cash bonus of $450 on or about July 31, 2017.

  • Full-time employees on the active payroll as of the first full pay period after July 1, 2017, who earn less than $39,900.00 in base salary as of June 30, 2017 shall receive a cash bonus not included in their base salary of the differential of their across-the-board increase and the amount of the across-the-board increase calculated on the base salary of $39,900.00. This bonus to be paid on or about July 1, 2017

  • Health cost will remain the same during the life of this contract, except for the following, if you chose to change plans and or if you change salary bands then your contribution will change accordingly.

  • Eye care program will remain the same as last contract. Each eligible employee and dependents may receive only one payment of $40.00 for regular prescription lens or $45.00 for bifocal lens or more complex prescriptions and $35.00 for an eye exam during the periods of July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017 and July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2019

  • At the State’s discretion, the State may grant an extra rest period due to weather conditions and extreme temperature.
